GARNELEN4YOU® Ribwort Plantain Sticks are a pure single-ingredient complementary food made entirely from gently processed ribwort plantain.

Ribwort plantain is a familiar European plant valued for its broad range of naturally occurring nutrients and secondary plant compounds. In shrimp feeding, it provides a simple way to add plant-based variety alongside a balanced main-food routine.

The sticks are suitable for Neocaridina and Caridina shrimp, as well as crayfish and aquarium snails.

Naturally rich in plant compounds and minerals

Ribwort plantain naturally contains:

• tannins;

• flavonoids;

• terpenoids;

• potassium;

• zinc;

• plant protein.

The manufacturer highlights these ingredients for their potential to support normal immune function, general resilience, healthy growth and stable development. Its naturally high plant-protein content also makes ribwort plantain a useful occasional addition to a varied shrimp diet.

100% ribwort plantain

The formulation contains only ribwort plantain.

There are no fillers, preservatives or other unnecessary chemical additives. This gives keepers a clear, straightforward single-ingredient food and makes it easy to vary the plant sources offered to the colony.

Balanced texture for natural grazing

The sticks are designed to soften neither too quickly nor too slowly.

This gives shrimp and snails time to gather around the portion and graze naturally, while reducing unnecessary dispersal of food throughout the aquarium. The stick format also makes portioning more consistent than loose dried plant material.

Feeding recommendation

Feed approximately 1 cm of stick for every 20 adult shrimp every 1–2 days, alternating with other complementary GARNELEN4YOU® foods.

Ribwort Plantain Sticks may occasionally be offered instead of one regular main feeding in the same approximate amount. However, as a single-ingredient food, they should not permanently replace Carny Sticks, Planty Sticks or the appropriate GARNELEN4YOU® main-food rotation.

Adjust the portion according to:

• colony size;

• shrimp size;

• available natural biofilm;

• the number of snails;

• how quickly the previous portion was consumed.

Feed only as much as the animals are likely to consume. Remaining food should be removed after no more than two days.
