A natural mulberry-leaf snack for shrimp

GARNELEN4YOU® Mulberry Sticks are a pure single-ingredient complementary food made entirely from gently processed mulberry leaves.

Mulberry leaves are naturally eaten in the habitats of many freshwater shrimp and are generally well accepted in the aquarium. They provide an easy way to add a nutritious plant-based food to the diet of Neocaridina and Caridina shrimp, crayfish and aquarium snails.

Naturally rich in calcium, iron and plant protein

Mulberry leaves naturally provide:

• calcium;

• iron;

• valuable plant protein.

Calcium contributes to normal shell development and moulting, while iron and plant protein support growth, general condition and reproduction. This makes Mulberry Sticks particularly useful as part of a varied feeding routine for growing colonies and breeding groups.

100% mulberry leaves

The formulation contains only mulberry leaves.

There are no fillers, preservatives or other chemical additives. This gives shrimp keepers a simple and transparent ingredient list while allowing them to vary the plant sources offered to their animals.

Suitable for growth, moulting and reproduction

The manufacturer developed Mulberry Sticks as a natural supplementary food that can support:

• healthy growth;

• strong exoskeleton development;

• normal moulting;

• reproduction;

• the development of young shrimp.

They are not intended to replace a complete main food, but they can be offered occasionally between regular meals or in place of one main feeding.

Balanced texture for natural grazing

The sticks are designed to soften at a controlled rate rather than dissolving immediately or remaining excessively hard.

This allows several shrimp and snails to gather around the same portion and graze naturally. The stick format also makes the food easy to portion and helps limit unnecessary food dispersal through the aquarium.

Feeding recommendation

Feed approximately 1 cm of stick for every 20 adult shrimp every 1–2 days, alternating with other complementary GARNELEN4YOU® foods.

Mulberry Sticks may occasionally be offered instead of one regular main feeding in the same approximate dosage. However, they should not permanently replace Carny Sticks, Planty Sticks or the appropriate GARNELEN4YOU® main-food rotation.

Adjust the amount according to:

• colony size;

• shrimp size;

• the amount of natural biofilm;

• the number of snails;

• how quickly the previous portion was consumed.

Feed only as much as the animals are likely to consume. Remove remaining food after no more than two days.
